The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and PwC announced the launch of a joint Corporate Tax Award for recognising outstanding performance on the part of corporate tax departments. The Interfax news agency is an official information partner in this project.

The goal of the new Corporate Tax Award is to identify and promote best practices for tax functions, while also publicising the professional achievements of tax leaders and fostering a professional community among high-level tax experts.

The Award will be given out in the following nomination categories:

• “Tax Team of the Year”
• “Tax Leader of the Year”
• “Tax Project of the Year”

An expert panel will decide on the winners of the Award. 

To qualify for the contest, applicants must register and submit their applications by 30 April 2016 at the following web address: www.corporatetaxaward.ru

Any organisation, irrespective of its legal form, that produces goods and renders services, can participate. The sole exception are those organisations that provide tax consulting services, which are ineligible for the contest.

Award winners will be presented with commemorative statuettes and prizes at a gala reception, which will be held in October 2016.
